The barrister defends a captain accused of a sexual crime by his cobbler - but when Southouse visits the plaintiff in the case, he begins to suspect both parties have something to hide. Meanwhile, Sir Arthur formally accuses Garrow of adultery, and employs cynical attorney John Farmer to ensure his rival is found guilty. Legal drama, starring Andrew Buchan, Alun Armstrong and Rupert Graves, with Andrew Scott (Sherlock), Matthew McNulty (Lark Rise to Candleford) and Anton Lesser (Little Dorrit).
