Abridged for radio by award-winning playwright, Mike Bartlett, Cock was first presented by the English Stage Company at the Royal Court Theatre in 2009.

On a break from his boyfriend, John accidentally falls for a woman, causing pain all round and exploding John's conceptions of his relationship, his sexuality and his identity.

The cast stars Ben Whishaw, Andrew Scott, Katherine Parkinson and Paul Jesson.

Synopsis: Rome 1962: The biggest most expensive movie ever made is in production, Cleopatra, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. The film is terribly delayed, massively over-budget and the co-stars are causing a terrific scandal.

Meanwhile Gil, the production meteorologist, has his eye on Olivia, one of Cleopatra's handmaidens but she's definitely not interested.
